After 100 days in the role as CEO of Wibe Group, Paul-Henri Geisler shares his reflections on leadership, culture, and the journey ahead. Having previously served as CFO, the transition has offered him a new lens on the business – one shaped not by spreadsheets, but by people.
“Coming from finance, I used to see the world through Excel. But now I realize: the world doesn’t fit into Excel anymore. It’s full of colors, perspectives, and energy – and that energy comes from our people.”
In his first months, Paul-Henri has spent time listening – to employees, leaders, and customers. What he’s found is a company with deep roots and bold ambitions.
“Our biggest strength lies in our history – both the long-term legacy built by our “fathers” and the strong network of loyal partners we’ve developed over time. And in our more recent history, the energy and momentum from becoming independent and the investments made by my predecessor, Patrick Arcidiacono, have created a solid foundation. On top of that, our people hold enormous potential – we just need to organize, prioritize and channel that energy in the right direction.”
The energy he talks about isn’t just motivation – it’s know-how, experience, and specialist knowledge. It’s the kind of energy that can only come from people who know the business inside out, and who care deeply about its future.
“The potential is already here – we just need to organize it, prioritize it, and put it on the right tracks.”
Wibe Group strives every day to be our customers’ trusted partner and a relevant player in cable management solutions across commercial buildings, industry, energy, and infrastructure. And it’s not being built from scratch – it’s built from within, upon our almost 100-year legacy and proud heritage in cable management.
“We’re not reinventing who we are. We’re reconnecting with it. And our new people values aren’t new – they’ve always been part of us. We’ve just found the words.”
Right now, Paul-Henri is working through a range of open boxes – projects, ideas, and opportunities that have been opened since the carve out. His focus is on sorting, prioritizing, and aligning these initiatives to ensure the biggest possible impact.
“When we focus on the right things and organize around what matters most, we’ll become a powerful locomotive. And it will be a lot of fun,”
