With 15 years at Fagerhult and extensive commercial leadership experience from the Nordic installation industry, Frida Almqvist joins Wibe Group as Sales Director. Her mandate is clear: strengthen Wibe Group’s commercial position across markets and help turn the company’s ambitious growth agenda into results.

Mora, Sweden, October 15, 2026 – Wibe Group has appointed Frida Almqvist as Sales Director with effect from September 14, 2026.

The appointment comes at an important point in Wibe Group’s development. With a strong position in cable management, market-leading positions in several of its core markets and a heritage built on quality and reliability, Wibe Group is approaching its 100th anniversary in 2029 with a clear ambition to build on that position and accelerate growth across both established markets and new segments.

For Frida Almqvist, that combination of heritage and ambition was precisely what made Wibe Group attractive.

“I have four non-negotiables when I consider a new role: I need to believe in the company and its foundation, I need to know that I can make a real contribution, the culture has to feel right, and I need an open and transparent relationship with my manager. Wibe ticked all four boxes,”
– says Frida Almqvist, Sales Director at Wibe Group
“What really excites me is the ambition. I like high expectations and organisations where people challenge each other and genuinely want to move forward. Wibe has a strong brand and a proud heritage – but also a clear appetite to build on it. That is a powerful combination.”

Building on a strong heritage

Almqvist brings extensive experience from the Nordic installation industry. She spent 15 years at Fagerhult in sales and management positions, most recently as Managing Director, and joins Wibe Group from a Nordic executive role at HellermannTyton.

She enters the role at a time when the market is changing rapidly. Customers are making decisions earlier, traditional roles across the value chain are becoming less defined, and demands for flexibility, technical expertise and customized solutions are increasing.

“Wibe already has something incredibly valuable: trust. Customers associate the Wibe name with quality, reliability and products they can depend on. My job is to build on that and combine the heritage with greater speed, innovation and commercial focus. We need to be relevant earlier in our customers’ projects and become an even stronger partner throughout the process.”

Alongside strengthening Wibe Group’s established business, Almqvist sees significant opportunities in areas including energy and infrastructure, data centres and defence, as well as in product innovation, more sustainable materials and stronger digital integration with customers.

CEO Paul-Henri Geisler sees the appointment as an important step in Wibe Group’s next phase.

“Wibe Group is an international Swedish company with strong roots and many long-standing customer relationships in Sweden. Frida reflects both who we are and where we want to go. Swedish at heart, international in outlook, commercially driven, energetic and ambitious for growth. I am very happy to have her leading our sales team,”
– says Paul-Henri Geisler, CEO of Wibe Group

For Almqvist, the starting point is clear:

“You can have excellent products, technology and systems, but business is still done between people. My first priority is to get close to the organisation, our markets and our customers. From there, we can set clear priorities, raise the bar and move faster together.”

Frida Almqvist took up the role on September 14, 2026, and will lead Wibe Group’s sales development across markets, with a focus on turning the Group’s growth ambitions into commercial priorities and stronger customer relationships.
