Wibe Group has acquired Indian Pushpak Fabricators as part of its strategy to expand within the fast-growing Energy & Infrastructure segments in Asia. The acquisition follows recent GRP (Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastics) investments in Malaysia and enables stronger regional presence, while operations in Europe remain unchanged.
Mora, August 1st, 2025 – The Swedish company Wibe Group, European market leader and provider of cable management solutions, today announces the acquisition of the Indian company Pushpak Fabricators, a trusted manufacturer of high-quality steel-based cable management systems. The acquisition marks the second step in Wibe Group’s three-part strategy to grow its presence in the fast-developing Energy & Infrastructure (E&I) segments across India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
This strategic move builds on Wibe Group’s earlier investment in GRP (Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastics) production in Malaysia – cable management systems engineered for use in highly corrosive environments, including the petrochemical industry, oil and gas sector and offshore wind energy – and now adds strong local steel production capabilities in India. Together, these steps reinforce the company’s presence in South Asia and strengthen its Energy & Infrastructure portfolio across neighboring countries.
